What's included in FlagMate?

With 1.5 you have all 26 Alpha flags, 10 Numeric flags, 3 utility flags, 29 Semaphore flags. Importantly you also get their full explanation clearly explained for you.

Are there full explanations?

YES - Some flags have different meanings depending on the vessel type using them, also some semaphore combinations double up as letters or numbers.
These are FULLY COVERED in the answers.

What is semaphore?

Semaphore is system of sending messages by holding the arms or two flags or poles in certain positions according to an alphabetic code.

Why would I want semaphore?

You may not. However we are trying to cater for a lot of sailors here and the initial feedback was the desire to learn and understand semaphore as you never know when you'll need it, plus if it was good enough for the Beatles on the album cover for HELP then it's good enough for you.

How many semaphore examples are there?

29! All critical alpha & numeric flag combinations are included as well as additional ones you'll really want to know.

What if a new flag is issued or a meaning is amended?

We will update this as soon as we find out and we will of course push this out as a FREE update. All updates of this nature WILL ALWAYS be free.

Is there a "lite" or free version of FlagMate?

Not at present. We may issue one in the future via sponsorship (we want to remain Ad free) however this will be a cut down version so it would be in all sense a taster app and will ALWAYS be at LEAST 1 revision behind the paid app.

What can we look forward to in the future?

MORE! More of everything from Semaphore to language localisation and we are looking toward the sailing community for requests.

Will future update be free?

All updates within a current revision will be free, however a major release with new added functionality may not be free.
But don't forget :
FLAG UPDATES WILL ALWAYS BE FREE NO MATTER WHAT VERSION YOU RUN.
